Everything below happens on one bench, mine. You deal directly with the person doing the work, you get a written estimate before anything is repaired, and every job leaves with a record of what was found and what was done. Local drop-off by appointment, or ship it in from anywhere.

What I Work On

Tube Amp Repair

Tube amps fail in ways that are easy to guess at and expensive to guess wrong about. A hum can be filter capacitors, a heater fault, a bad ground, or a tube that is only bad under load. Swapping parts until it goes away is how a cheap repair turns into a bill for parts you did not need.

Synth Repair

Vintage synths fail at the component level, and the parts that fail are often the ones nobody stocks any more. That is the part most shops will not take on - it means sourcing, testing, and calibrating rather than ordering a board and dropping it in.

Organ & Rhodes

Electromechanical keyboards are half electronics and half machine, and they need someone willing to work on both. A Leslie that has lost its speed is a mechanical problem. A Hammond that hums is an electronic one. A Rhodes that plays unevenly is neither - it is geometry.

Pro Audio

I work as a backline technician as well as a bench tech, so professional audio gear is familiar territory rather than an exception. Preamps, DIs, outboard, and touring backline all come through here.

Pedals & Odd Jobs

Pedal troubleshooting, repair, and modification in any format. Plus circuit design, one-off builds, and the weird projects other shops will not touch. If it has circuits and it is broken, ask me.
